Expedition of the fries

The transportation by truck is insured in optimal conditions for the fries.

Tanks are insolated, allows to maintain 24 000 liters to an ideal and constant temperature. Sanitary precautions are insured by the carrier and the personnel of the hatchery (disinfection of tanks, etc. ).

During the transportation, the fries are starved keep, in the dark and maintained at a temperature of 14°C. This process slows their metabolism and insures the animals a minimal stress.

For a trip of 4 000 km, for example, between the north of France and Greece, fish have to remain 5 days in the truck, that need to control very carefully conditions in tanks. To keep the fishes in physiological condition of minimal osmoregulation and optimal oxygenation.

Controls are carried on :
  • Physico - chemical quality of the water,
  • The saltinity,
  • The temperature of the water,
  • The ph,
  • Oxygen level,
  • The disinfection.
